My office has a Cricut machine. I thought i'd try it out by scanning some line drawings my children made and turn them into a t-shirt for Dad for Christmas. It went fast and easy. I ended up leaving the iron for slightly longer than the instructions said ( had the Teflon sheet on top for added protection during this). I had a few areas that lifted a bit because the iron on wanted to stick to the backing. Easily fixed by gently removing the backing and then ironing again with the just the Teflon sheet on top. Voila, turned out awesome and looked very Pro!
I'm a first time user of using my Cricut. I have no idea why there are bad reviews for. One person looked as if they were trying to weed the vinyl as it was stuck on the cutting board! Do not do this! Another user said that their vinyl melted. I don't know about you but you have to put something on top of vinyl when ironing it on. HINT: HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl works great! Another person said that they couldn't get the vinyl to even stick to the fabric....Hmmm...Are ya using the right side of the vinyl?? Did you peel the backing off before applying the vinyl?? Do people not know what YouTube is for? LOL! Enough about the people who don't know what they are doing. You won't go wrong buying this vinyl. It weeds very easily and stuck the vinyl project on my shirt the very first try! YES, I watch YouTube! Shipping was fast! During the busiest holiday season and arrived in 3 days. One day was Christmas by the way. So yes, buy this product. You will not go wrong.
I love the HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl 4u! The instructions written very clear and precise. I wish I took the time to order more colors. For a 1st time user, not bad. I sure my granddaughter will love her house shoes. This product is easy to work with I’m impressed with how easy it was to work with this vinyl. So far so good. I will be updating in a few months with any changes I find on this product. My 2nd time buying these and I haven't been disappointed. Just wish that I could buy rolls of a particular color. Both shipments came in fine. No problems with weeding or setting on projects. I bought these for my daughter and she really loved them, so I purchased for myself. I haven't used them yet but my daughter said they stayed down and were easier to use that the other brands she had tried.
HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl seems to do well and is easy to work with. I have not washed it to determine how well it lasts. It does seem to be a bit thinner but I would definitely purchase again. Just what I needed/wanted. Love the colors and the fact that it includes a teflon sheet too! I'm a newbie at this, started out using Cricut only brand vinyl. I don't like Cricut vinyl because it comes in a roll and is a pain to unroll it and get it on the mat. Their vinyl is not near the quality as this vinyl! This 100% better quality! I will no longer buy Cricut vinyl!
