I purchased HTVRONT HTV transfer tape after reading many reviews. I had never worked with vinyl, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was a little nervous because a lot of reviews claim that this transfer tape does not release the vinyl, but that was not my experience at all! My very first vinyl project turned out beautifully, and the HTVRONT transfer tape did the job perfectly.
The lines however do wear off with brandishing but still very usable! Honestly HTVRONT HTV transfer tape is my favorite transfer tape, has guided lines to help you line up your project and doesn't leave any stickiness on your project. WARNING FOR BEGINNERS- USE THIS TAPE FOR ALL VINYL and foil EXCEPT FOR GLITTER IRON ON. I made the mistake of using strong grip vinyl tape on my first project and spent literally 8 hrs trying to slowly peel it off because it was so strong that it wouldn't come off my vinyl! Then i spent hours using nail polish remover to get the stick off. A lot of people say it's expensive, but i do SO much vinyl and my first roll lasted me a good 3 months(check tip about to stretch out use)Definitely worth the price to make sure your projects come out flawless!!! Here is step by step photos of me applying a vinyl hop to my machine. SEE PICTURES- HTVRONT HTV transfer tape was used 3 times! That is why it looks a little cloudy, It wasn't returned to liner so it sat face up for over a week and still worked perfectly!
I have tried other transfer tapes and have had the best transfer tape for vinyl. It is a bit stickier than most but if you put it on your arm first and take some of the adhesive off, it is perfect! Works way better than contact paper and I am so much less frustrated! I have to admit, I was using all kinds of other things for transferring trying to "save money" and wasted so much paper, etc. Buy HTVRONT HTV transfer tape and do it correctly...it works awesome, and never damages whatever you are transferring. This is my favorite transfer material for vinyl stickers, because of the guidelines and the perfect stickiness of the adhesive.
I followed the instructions from a YouTube tutorial and was amazed at the results using vinyl and the adhesive transfer tape. I love the fact that I can use the tape many times. Learning to use my circuit and all the cool things i can do with it. definitely a big learning curve, but HTVRONT HTV transfer tape is great. This was purchased as part of a gift. There have been no complaints!
