My smoker racks were getting pretty grimy and I wanted to use these instead since it’s much easier to clean than the racks. They were really easy to cut to size with scissors and the meat just slides right off of them. I also slit little holes in them too so that the meat juices don’t pool up on top of the mat. I have used this mats for grilling vegetables on a electric grill. I am very happy that the food did not fall through and my grill was clean. It also comes with the small brush which I liked. I have also used to bake the puff pastry sheets. It worked performed that. Important thing is this grilling and baking mats are reusable and very easy to clean.
I used barbecue mat over the Memorial Day weekend for my family get together. We grilled pork chops, hamburgers and hot dogs. These mats are great. They are non stick, easy to clean, and reusable. I have no clue how long they will last but they seem pretty durable. I wiped them off then put them in the dishwasher and they still look new. I was excited that it came with a baster in case maybe you wanted to butter something or barbeque something whatever you want to spread on what you're cooking. We have been using grill mats for several years. Up to this point, we had only black ones. We find that the copper ones clean much more easily than the black ones. Used them for ribs yesterday and the charred sauce fell right off for cleaning. I have only used these a couple of times but they work as advertised. They are very easy to clean-up and the bbq stays clean. Especially great for cooking vegetables and other small items that would otherwise fall through the grates.
I was very pleased when I receive non stick BBQ grill mat although I have used it only once I am anxious to see how many times I can reuse one of the grill mats before it loses its usefulness and I have to use another one. I will write another review in a few months after I have used 5 to 10 times and let everyone know how it is still working. Prior to the grill mat I would use foil and create little side so that the juice would not run over the edge into the grill. This product could be improved by adding those little ledges so that juices don’t run over the edge. But all in all great product and I do not need to use foil which could cause health issues later.
YRYM HT non stick BBQ grill mat keeps grill clean. That is the best part. The food is just as good without the extra work. Used this on the grill and while the meat didn't have the characteristic "stripes" from sitting directly on the grill plates, it still allowed for even cooking. Plus, instead of losing the meat's juices through the grill racks, you can easily scrape them up for putting back on the meat, thus adding extra natural flavor. Good product and reasonable price. I purchased this wanting to use it on the BBQ. This was the described use. However when I received them it said on the box, use with "indirect" heating only. I think this needs to be in the advertised description. I returned the product, after further thought I figured cleaning the grill wasn't really that big of an issue. Hope it works better for others.
