The barbecue mat is a great find for barbecue. I don’t want to have to scrub a grill on camping trips. I just want to relax after cooking and these make that possible. So easy to clean and my food taste the same as if the mat wasn’t there. Will buy again. My son has a grill mat and loves it so I decided to give it a try. It's great! Used to grill chicken for fajitas. Outstanding! I like my barbecue grates clean, every time I would make ribs barbecued ribs or chicken or whatever using barbecue sauce it was very hard to clean the grates, but now all you do is wash off the mats which is very easy and I always have a clean surface.
After several years of using a gas grill and having to deal with flame ups, grease fires, burnt meat, annoying smoke, etc., I decided to invest in the YRYM HTBest BBQ Grill Mat. My only regret at this point is that I didn't purchase this product when my gas grill was brand new. My wife and I were impressed with the first steak that was cooked on the grill mat. As soon as the meat was removed, I promptly cleaned the grill mat per instructions provided by YRYM HT, the mat cleaning was effortless. Please note that I seldom rate products on Amazon. However, my personal experience with the grill mat forced me to pass along some positive feedback regarding a product of excellent quality. I have used them now for Salmon, Ribeyes, and Burgers. They actually cook at what seams to be a higher heat. Very easy to get the cook dead on.
My husband loved grilling but hated the cleanup. That's until we purchased the YRYM HT barbecue mat! We are now able to grill onions and mushrooms for our burgers and not lose half of it during grilling. Beef patties turn out juicy, salmon patties are cooked to perfection. Short ribs are a bit greasy so you’ll have to make sure to pat the grease with a paper towel as it pools around the meat. Other than that, we love our grill mat! If you don't have these, you gotta get them! Great for grilling or using as a silt pad. Have had them for a few years and they are still going strong!! It works great for all foods. Best is fish! We liked it so much we told my brother in-law about it and they bought one also.
Recently had to replace my grill plates because the outer porcelain had chipped and they were rusting. Decided to buy these mats to try to preserver their life a bit longer. I've used them about 3-4 times. They work great, clean easily, and I haven't had to clean my new grill plates once. Fully intend to buy more mats whenever these finally do give up the ghost. This is the best thing for your grill. Keep crates clean and cooks your food incredible.... everything from burgers to fish ... veggies too. I grill almost everyday. I honestly think they are amazing and would recommend to anyone. If you don’t like them, you honestly must be doing something wrong.
