I purchased grill mat, didn't use grill mat yet because i would like to know if i warm the grill first or warm the girl with the mats on it , could you help please, ty.
Answer: I heated my charcoal and placed the mats on while the coals were heating up, I didn't have any problems with them. They are as stated in the advertisement, you can wipe them clean, but I have found you need to soap them up pretty good to get the grease and BBQ sauce off. But that is a lot better than having to scrape my cooking grates after each use. I did get a little over run on to the grates but I truly do like them. I kept the packaging they came in and after cleaning them use it for storage. Hope this helps.
I have used my regular grill tools, spatulas,tongs etc with no damage or ill effects . Yes, we use a spatula on the mat when we are cooking. When cleaning it up I have use a plastic scraper on tough areas. Yes, you can use a silicone spatula on the Grill Mats. Plastic or silicone no metal . Yes, absolutely! Just make sure that you are using a plastic or silicone spatula as not to damage the mat! Made with PTFE (PFOA Free). 100% non-stick fabric. I hope this helps. Are these a once in a lifetime buy or do they need replacing after so many uses? I'm not certain of the life expectancy of this product and you might want to direct your question to the manufacturer but as a new owner and having used them six times since buying, we see no wear or deterioration of the cooking surface and the grilling results are still excellent. And, considering the reasonable pricing, replacing them from time to time is acceptable to us. Hope that helps!
Might only last a year or years- but manufacturer told me they are happy to place for free! We have had ours one year. We have used them a lot and are now going to have to replace them. Can't find how to contact manufacturer for replacement, since they are guaranteed for life time. So we are just going to order them again. Will this grill mat work on a air fryer? Will it be safe? When using this do you still get the taste like using without? I cook on a propane Delta and occasionally use their great smoke box. But on the times.
In my experience, yes. The main difference that the mat makes is in the clean-up of the grill. It has yet to effect the taste of my meals . No taste from the mat
Very even grilling. I have BBQ'ed for many years. Will only use these going forward. Makes grilling easier and cleanup easy. Plus keeps BBQ super clean. I dint review products. This is my first because these are awesome.
