This grill mat is just fantastic! We decided to try the grill mat for the first time by making Kalbi style teriyaki flanken-ribs. These usually leave a big, sticky mess on the grill due to the sugar in the sauce. I marinated the ribs, then my hubby preheated the gas grill, put the mat on the rack and the ribs on top of the mat. They began sizzling right away. I was worried they might not crisp up the way I like them, but not only were they crisp on the edges, they were amazingly moist and tender in the center. I placed the mat in the sink while we ate, and it washed up very easily afterwards. The burnt on sugar actually peeled right off the surface! Now we can't wait to try salmon on it! I have included pictures of the marinating, cooking, finished ribs, and mat before cleaning.
When I first got these grill mats I thought what a great idea, and gave one to my neighbor. After the first use I noticed some bubbling on the underside. I continued to use it, and after a couple of weeks the mat seemed to be deteriorating. I didn't feel it was safe to put food on any longer. It was only used on the low setting of a gas grill. This is definitely not something that should have a lifetime guarantee. My husband loves this gift. Used one on Fathers Day for his spareribs. I had never used a grill mat before, only used it once since my purchase, and I really like it. It provides a flat surface away from the flames when needed...great for veggies, fish. These are AWESOME! We use them all the time! They work great for anything you plan to marinate while it's on the grill, or for anything small that you're worried will fall through the grill grates. These mats are awesome! I got these for my husband for a Father's Day gift and they cover our grill grates perfectly! The clean up is a breeze. Happy customer here! I tried this out tonight and they are fantastic. I cooked chicken breasts, legs, pork chops, steak, sausage and hot dogs. Each item was perfectly cooked, with grill marks, and clean up was a breeze. My family and friends loved these mats and I have already ordered 3 more sets for gifts.
Hubby is happy with these. He's tried others in the past and they burned and melted. This one doesn't melt on the grill. So far so good. Great product and even better customer service! They've reached out to make sure that we were happy with the order! Will update on how it holds up. My son just rec'd these as a Christmas present last night so hasn't had a chance to use them let. I better review would be after a couple of months when he's had a chance to use it/try it out. I love the easy clean up and no more Flare UPs! Cleans easily, meat cooks wonderfully, no mess. Love this product. Would recommend this to any type of great person, just learning and or the grillpro. i was surprised that these are as big as they are. got here so fast. these are great. the item was as expected. easy to clean and to use. I did not like the fact that my steak did not cooked the way it cook without the math. I would not buy it again. My Fiance' grills pretty much twice a week. I thought this would be a great thing for him and he absolutely loves it. It's easy to clean and our food doesn't stick. I would definitely recommend! We are having a great time with our grill pads doing Stuffed Hawaiian French Toast, Ruben sandwich’s and grilled pineapple. The grill marks are a hit with everyone. Pretty good product overall. It keeps your grill much cleaner and a lot less cleanup of your grill which is a big win for myself. I do like that you still get those awesome grill marks on your meat. Great product. Works with all griiling items. Especially, the clean-up work is minimal. Even works in the dishwasher. Highly recommend it for all types of grills, charcoat, gas or electric. Great product. Spares the grill cleaning chore which induces to use the grill more often. Fantastic. So easy to clean. Also saved so much clean up with the grill. Grilled meats came great. Works perfect for veggies and fish/shrimp stuff like that. you can do meat if you can slant it a bit otherwise there’s no placefor the grease to go. Cleans easy and after a couple weeks of decently heavy use they show very few signs of wear and tear. I’d buy em again.
