Eggs are difficult if your grill has some fall angle.. but it makes wonders with fish, meat, burgers, veggies and whatever you wanna thow on top of it. I love this product. We grill a lot and this Grill Mat has solved the problem of pieces falling thru the grill racks. Easy Clean up. Glad I found this product! These mats are amazing! Purchased them for my tailgate grill! Easiest clean up ever! Food didn't lose the "grilled" flavor OR markings! It works as advertised.....however , the pair of mats I received began having visible threads peeling from the edges after first use and during the second use it was peeling off even more and getting caught up in the grilled food. So, had to discard the food for safety purposes. I trashed the grill mat after that. Retrospectively, I should've took a photo prior to discarding the mats.
Not sure if it was a manufacturing defect with the set I received or if it's a universal problem with this brand. Either way, I'm unlikely to try these grill mats out again. Also, after experiencing this, I am of the opinion to not use mats in general. A grill is a grill, and it should be used as such. In my experience, using the mats on two occasions, was kinda stressful and took the fun out of "grilling". What was I thinking ....?!! I like the grill mat but it doesn't seem to clean up very well. Maybe I'm missing something but it's hard to get some of the charred areas removed from the mat. But I've cooked fish, hamburger and hot dogs on the mat and the food cooks very well. You also don't have to worry about flame-ups with the grill mat. I received these very fast, perfectly in time for my Uncles birthday. He is so far very pleased. I would definitely order again in the future. They work just as advertised! Great product and cleaning them was easier than expected as well! It is everything they say it is, and more. I have a high end Weber propane grill, and the mat works great. No flame flare-ups. Easy to clean. And the grill stays clean. When the the time is taken to pull it out they like it, otherwise... Love the way you can cook on them, it's like cooking straight on grill! There are even the grill marks on the meat! Much Better than expected. Rub a vefry little Olive oil on map prior to use to enhance all aspects of this product, Great for veggies and meat, fish and chicken.
Best invention ever. I grill 4 to 5 days a week on my gas and charcoal grill and it works great on both! And my wife loves the ease of cleaning it as well. The mats arrived about the time they were expected and were as advertised. They are not quite as thick as I expected but clean up well and work as promised. With the grill mats came a whole different experience grilling, nothing falls through, Also buy one pair and they have a lifetime replacement. Excellent product use it every time I grill. Love these mats, no clean up on the grill. The mats clean up very easily and are reusable. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I love, love, love it.. I made pork roll and eggs on the grill and it was awesome. The clean up is easy. I recommend this product highly. This grill mat was everything I hoped it would be! I grilled stuffed burgers, they came out perfect! No sticking! I LOVE this mat, my only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner! Can't wait to grill my salmon :) Buy it, you won't be sorry.
